The Book of Proverbs isn’t meant to be read as a list of absolute truths. They are rich aphorisms that, when adhered to, will minimize the strife endemic to human folly. However, Proverbs 18:17 reads like prophecy when comparing the statements Dr. Anthony Fauci made during the COVID-19 and those found in his electronic journal.
The first to plead his case seems right, Until another comes and examines him. (NASB)
Fauci protected himself from perjury during the recent Congressional hearing, but his testimony—his reputation and his family’s name—will be forever contaminated by his vanity. That must sting.
